A lie leads to a viral

According to Nissan's brand planners, the Nissan Frontier is a mid-size truck that acts like a full size, giving the driver the feeling they can tackle any obstacle, with its full-size payload and towing capacities. This viral shows how this truck averts a plane crash by supporting the plane in place of its malfunctioning front wheel and thus sells the benefits of the truck. It garnered over 10 lac views in 10 days across Youtube and Facebook.

But this video seen below is a lie. No such thing incident ever happened around the world.

This video is just special effects, like those found in our movies with little attention to details.

Will people buy into the brand and its message? Or will they feel cheated when they find out that the video is a lie? Or in the present times, of decreasing attention spans, the viewers might not search for truth and simply believe what they see?

So, when a lie lead to this viral, will you trust the brand?
